Panda Theatre is a Brussels-based English language musical theatre company that caters to young performers from the ages of 6-21. Using theatre techniques, we teach young people the vital communications skills they can use for their entire life. 

By taking part in our classes and in our theatre shows, children become confident speaking in front of one another, as well as performing to a big audience. As they gain in self-confidence they also gain self-esteem. 

We teach articulation, timing and vocal projection—all things that can improve public speaking skills in later life. Acting, singing and dancing together also encourages cooperative group dynamics. Our young students become used to taking direction while leading, supporting and trusting others.  

Panda Theatre actors also learn effective communication skills and empathy. Understanding a character’s flaws and attributes enables students to better understand people and surroundings. 

Through character development, our young actors learn to get in touch with their character’s feelings and thoughts. This often makes them more aware of their own thoughts and feelings and how they can communicate them effectively. 

Good public speaking, teamwork and communication skills are all vital skills in professional life. Panda Theatre helps children become well-rounded, confident and articulate adults.
